Another year is in the books for our Panama City Beach Festival, and we can’t thank everyone who helped us to pull together this event enough! Our team at Food Truck Festivals of America had a blast bringing this event together and getting to see the smiling faces of festival attendees as they enjoyed two days of food trucks, craft beers, and fun!
It wouldn’t be a festival without our hardworking Food Truck Fam and our stomachs are certainly going to miss some of the amazing food we got to chow down on at the festival!
To kick off our 2022 season, FTFA started a new tradition of awarding the Best Food Truck trophy to the truck that attendees voted for throughout the event. It was a fierce competition between the trucks, but at 5 p.m. on Sunday when we checked the polls, Thai 2 Go inched ahead of the competition and claimed the first-ever Panama City Beach Best Food Truck trophy. From their Shrimp Pad Thai to their Pork Panang Curry, attendees were left with a good taste in their mouths. It was a close race with My Ohana placing second overall and Curry in a Hurry placing third overall.

Our team worked around the clock to ensure we brought the best experience possible to the world’s most beautiful beaches. After arriving on our flight on Thursday, our team woke up at 3 a.m. to split up and appear live on both WMBB News 13 and WJHG Channel 7! Thanks again to both stations for having us on, we love to share the good food news wherever we go.
While FTFA’s Owner and Operations Manager Anthony has made a variety of television appearances in the past, our team was impressed with Pascale, who did an amazing job for her first time live on television! To see FTFA’s cable news appearances, you can check out the videos below.
We always look forward to our Panama City Beach Festival, and our fifth year returning was one to remember!
Now that we’ve packed up and headed back to our headquarters in the Boston area, our team of foodies is focused on bringing the same great experience to our next Festival in Albuquerque! The 6th annual Great New Mexico Food Truck and Craft Beer Festival will take place at the International Balloon Museum in Albuquerque on Saturday, March 26 and tickets can be purchased online by clicking here.
As always, general admission tickets are half off if you purchase them online before the date of our festival, and admission for children 12 and under is free!
