OUR STORY
The whole idea for FTFA started back in 2011 when we were reading about this new trend in dining out called “food trucks”. They were big in LA. They were parked in NY. They were hot in DC. They were starting to arrive in New England.
Our first festival at The Pinehills in Plymouth, MA featured eight trucks…and 4,000 people showed up. We were stunned. Then came our second. 12 trucks and 6,000 people. Then our third. 18 trucks and 10,000 people. At that point, we knew we were onto something big.
Fast forward 10 years later...here we are!
OUR
GOAL
Our goal is not only to introduce communities across the country to the booming phenomenon of gourmet food trucks, but to support the small business owners who run them.
We aim to create destination events that feature the trucks and the food they serve.

OWNER
Executive Producer Anthony Pepe
Food Truck Festivals of America Owner and Executive Producer Anthony Pepe has been working with food trucks since 2018 when he started his FTFA journey. As a self-proclaimed foodie and lover of all things good to eat, Anthony started as the Director of Operations for Food Truck Festivals of America and became the owner in November 2020. Ever since then, Anthony has been focused on bringing the fun of FTFA to new locations across the nation.

Ask anyone in the FTFA office and they will be quick to tell you that one of the first things you’ll hear from Anthony each morning is, “So what’s for lunch?”. For Anthony, hotdogs stand out as an all-time favorite, and festival attendees can occasionally catch Anthony wearing his lucky hotdog socks.
When his mind isn’t on food, Anthony hosts his nationally syndicated sports radio show, “The Diehards”. Listeners can catch “The Diehards” weeknights on the SportsMap Radio Network and local partnered stations across the country. With over twenty years of experience, Anthony is a veteran sports broadcaster who has been on the airwaves in a variety of roles. Anthony also serves as a Marketing Consultant, Producer, and Engineer for Boston College’s Football and Hockey teams. Anthony can also be found proudly supporting his daughters on the softball fields of Canton, Massachusetts.
After finding new ways to adapt the business and stay safe during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Anthony is excited to return to normal and bring Food Truck Festivals of America’s premier food truck and craft beer experiences to both new and returning locations across the country. Anthony is known online as the #Foodtruckking and can be found on Twitter at @AnthonyPepe and Instagram at diehardpepe.
